From a busy room to one person who is listening.
Subichat is an Indian chat-room site with rooms for Hindi, English and six other Indian languages, where you join as a guest or with an account and talk to everyone in the room. HearMe Chat is one-to-one instead: tap Start and you get a stranger to talk to, by typing or on a voice call, with a nickname rather than your real name and no camera at all. The Subichat details on this page are from its home page, checked on 20 October 2026.

What Subichat is
Subichat is a chat-room site for India, with a copyright line running from 2021 to 2026. Its home page offers three ways in, Guest, Login and Register, and a set of rooms by language: Hindi, English, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Kannada. The idea is the classic room: you pick the one in your language and talk with whoever is there.
It has a short set of rules on the same page. You are asked to enter with a genuine name, and the page warns that a fake one can get you banned. You should not share personal details, spam or promote anything, and each person may have one account only.
The visible page stops there, but the same page carries a set of FAQ answers in its code, written for search engines, and they describe more. They say Subichat is free, that a guest account needs only a nickname and a gender, that random video and audio calls run over WebRTC and that no video is stored on its servers, and that moderation combines AI and people. A paid Royal VIP Club adds a gender filter, a crown badge, priority messaging, unlimited call history and no ads. We have not tried the calls ourselves; this is what Subichat says about them.
Where HearMe Chat is different
A room is a crowd. Everyone sees what you write, replies cross over each other, and a quiet person can go unnoticed for an hour. HearMe Chat is built for the opposite: one conversation with one person. You tap Start, the site finds someone who is also waiting, and it is just the two of you until one of you taps Next.
You can do that out loud. Choose Voice and you are on a voice call with a stranger, using only your microphone. Subichat's FAQ describes video calls; HearMe Chat has no video at all, so nobody can ask you to turn a camera on. Or choose Text and type, which is easier on a crowded bus or late at night when the house is asleep.
You do not give a real name. HearMe Chat asks for a nickname, or makes one up for you, and never shows your country to the other person. On a site where the rules ask for a genuine name, that is the line you cross before saying hello; here it does not exist. Every report goes to our moderation queue and is reviewed by a person. Some room messages are hidden automatically first, and repeated under-18 violations are banned automatically.
The menus and buttons are in Hindi as well as English and six other languages. Matching is worldwide, though, not by language, so the person you meet may be in Delhi or in Dubai; say in your first message which language you would like. Our India guide covers the busy hours here.
For scale: from 13 to 19 October 2026, HearMe Chat counted 9,633 one-to-one text chats and 754 voice calls started on the site, worldwide, read from our own database. Those are whole conversations, not page views.
Where Subichat is better
Language rooms. If you want to chat in Bhojpuri, Telugu or Kannada with people who speak it, a room named for that language puts you straight among them. HearMe Chat cannot promise that: it matches across countries and languages, and it has one room, General, open to everyone.
Rooms also suit people who like to read before they speak, or to talk with several people at once. Subichat has eight of them on its home page; HearMe Chat has one. And if you want to see the person, its FAQ describes random video calls, which HearMe Chat will never offer. And Subichat's copyright line goes back to 2021, while HearMe Chat has only been online since September 2026.
How to switch in 30 seconds
- Open HearMe Chat, or the Hindi version if you prefer the menus in Hindi.
- Use any nickname you like. Confirm you are 18 or older.
- Tap Voice for a call or Text to type. The first time, allow the microphone for Voice.
- Say which language you would like in your first line. If the match is not right, Next finds another person.
Miss the room? General is open to read and to join, with the real number of people in it.

Frequently asked questions
Is Subichat safe?
Subichat's home page has rules against sharing personal details, spam and multiple accounts, and asks you to use a genuine name; its FAQ says moderation combines AI and people. In any open room, keep your phone number, address and socials to yourself. HearMe Chat never asks for your real name and has Report and Block in every chat.
Is there a Subichat app?
Its FAQ says it works in a phone browser without downloading an app. We have not looked for one in the app stores. HearMe Chat also runs in any phone browser with nothing to install.
Is Subichat down?
We cannot check Subichat's status for you. If it will not load, try a different browser or network, or come back later. If you want someone to talk to now, HearMe Chat's voice and text chat need no account.
Can I chat in Hindi on HearMe Chat?
Yes. The whole interface is available in Hindi, and you can write in Hindi or speak it on a call. Matching is not sorted by language, so mention in your first message that you would like to chat in Hindi.
Do I need my real name on HearMe Chat?
No. A nickname is all it asks for, and you can keep the one it suggests. A free account is optional and only adds friends and direct messages.
