By accessing and using HearMe, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
HearMe is an anonymous voice and text chat service. You are matched with a stranger for a one-to-one voice call or text chat, and you can join rooms, post requests, and message friends. There is no video on HearMe. It is not a dating or adult-content platform.
You must be 18 years or older to use HearMe. By using the service, you confirm you are at least 18. We require users to confirm they are 18 or older before using chat features.
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. Harassment, hate speech, illegal activity, spam, and explicit content are not permitted.
You are responsible for the content you share on HearMe, including messages, voice, voice notes, images, GIFs, and profile details. Do not share anything illegal or that violates others' rights (including copyright and privacy).
We may monitor activity and content to keep the platform safe and enforce our Guidelines. By using the service, you consent to this.
Voice calls are not recorded or stored by HearMe. Every one-to-one call is private: nobody else can listen in, whether you use HearMe free or with Premium. During a call, each participant's browser keeps only the most recent 60 seconds of the other side's audio in memory on that device. If a participant taps Report, that 60-second clip is sent to us together with the reason, may be transcribed automatically, is reviewed by our moderation tools and team, and is deleted within 7 days. Nothing is uploaded unless someone reports. Rooms are text only. Serious reports may lead to a temporary suspension while we review.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Guidelines, without prior notice.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your login details with others. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the service.
Premium subscriptions are billed through our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.
HearMe and its branding, design, and original content are owned by HearMe. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our platform or content without permission. User-generated content remains yours, but you grant us a license to display and moderate it as needed to operate the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of HearMe after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
HearMe is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including interactions with other users.
