Every call is private
A 1:1 call is between the two of you. Nobody can join it, list it or listen to it, free or premium.
No video, ever
The site never asks for a camera. Your voice and your words are all anyone gets.
No sign-up, no limit
A nickname is the whole form. Guests chat and call as much as they like; an account only adds friends and history.
Rooms and requests
When the queue is quiet there is still a room to enter and a request board to post on. Nothing is faked to look busy.
How it pays for itself
Ads, when they arrive, and a premium tier that buys filters and a badge. Nothing that lets you talk is ever paid, and login is never behind a paywall.
Not the HearMe listening app
HearMe.chat has no connection to the HearMe peer-listening app. Nobody here is a trained listener; this is anonymous chat with strangers by voice or text, and it is not a substitute for support or therapy.
